How not to spend your very last day in Korea:
-with a tonsil infection
-writing papers instead of packing
-getting an injection in your ass because of an allergic reaction
I comfort myself with the thought that most other days in Korea were great, but no, this was not what I imagined my goodbye to be. This night I am flying to warmer areas and I hope to spend five days on a beach, doing nothing than recovering from this rather hectic week.
Good thing: with all the shit going down, there was little space in my mind occupied with the thought of leaving this place, because it would break my heart. It is hard to realize that most people I have met, I will never see again in my life. I have no idea whether I will ever come back to Korea, but I hope I can. With a lot of struggles Seoul became my home, and I am definitely not done exploring this beautiful city…
And now it is time for our last dinner and drinks in Seoul.
A great journey ahead
Only four weeks and I will be home again.
